4. Purpose of the Privacy Policy
The privacy policy explains how Ennui uses your personal data. By using MusGO, you confirm that you have read and understood the privacy policy.
5. Does MusGO Collect Any Data?
MusGO has been built to minimize data collection. Users are given an online profile — they are assigned a fictional name and number. Users can provide an email address for password retrieval, but an email address isn’t required to use the app. Any time personal information is collected, we will identify the purposes for which the information is being collected.
A child is a person under the age of digital consent or 13 years of age. A child is not permitted to use MusGO. By using MusGO, you confirm that you are not a child.
In the case that an email is collected, by using MusGO and providing such email information, you confirm that you have the capacity to provide consent to the collection and use of the email by MusGo.
6. Ensuring a User’s Privacy
Ennui ensures a safe environment for all users. We moderate and monitor all user interactions.
7. Sharing Users’ data with third-party providers
MusGO uses a small number of third-party service providers to help us provide service to users. Some of these providers may process users’ data on our behalf. We enter into contractual arrangements with our service providers to ensure they are only processing data in a lawful manner.
The third-party service providers who help us operate MusGO and with whom we share data are:
Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL — for storage of MusGO data. See Amazon Web Services’ privacy policy here: https://aws.amazon.com/privacy
Two Hat Security Limited — we share the user’s username and ID with Two Hat Security for the purposes of moderating content and community behaviour. See TwoHat Security’s privacy policy here: https://www.twohat.com/privacy/.
Apple Inc. – the MusGO App (iOS) uses the iPhone’s TrueDepth Application camera (if available on device) to place a 3D AR mask on top of the user’s face. The camera images and depth data are used only for placing and displaying during an AR Mask Interactive Activity. MusGO will not store, or retain, or share any data captured by the TrueDepth camera on any servers or use customer face data for any purpose other than the app’s core functionality. MusGO does not, and will not, use customer face data to personally identify any user.
We do not share your personal information with any unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes.
8. What rights do I have over my data?
You have the right to ask us about any personal information we process about you, the purpose and the nature of the processing, and to provide information on who we share it with. You have the right to expect us to protect your personal information and keep it safe.
